Y10 Careers Fair
Careers Fair 2026 – Inspiring Futures for Year 9 & Year 10
Following the success of last year’s Careers Fair, this year’s event is designed exclusively for our Year 9 and Year 10 students. It provides an early, high‑impact opportunity to explore future pathways, build aspirations, and make informed decisions ahead of GCSE and post‑16 choices.
What students can expect
- Meet employers from a wide range of sectors including tech, healthcare, finance, engineering, creative industries, and public services.
- Explore future pathways such as A‑Levels, T‑Levels, apprenticeships, vocational routes, and university options.
- Ask meaningful questions about skills, qualifications, and what different careers look like day to day.
- Collect resources to support option choices, long‑term planning, and next‑step conversations at home.
Why it matters for Year 9 and Year 10
- Year 9: Ideal timing as students begin thinking about GCSE options and long‑term ambitions.
- Year 10: A chance to deepen career understanding ahead of work experience, mocks, and post‑16 planning.
- Both year groups: Build confidence, broaden horizons, and discover opportunities they may not have considered.
Practical Information
- Date: Monday 13th July
- Time: 1:30–3:00pm
- Location: Main Hall, Harris Academy Beulah Hill (HABH)
