This is an area dedicated to useful, up-to-date school information for parents and carers.
 

How can you monitor your child's attendance, assessment and behaviour?                 

We use a portal called MyChildAtSchool [MCAS], which enables parents to view their child's academic performance in real-time via a web browser. This facility allows exclusive access to the child's Attendance, Assessment and Behaviour whenever the parent/carer wishes. As well as student performance data, the portal also provides general useful information about school such as the Academic Calendar and Announcements.
To login to the MCAS Parent Portal you will need to have a valid e-mail address registered with the Academy and an Invitation Code. See the MCAS Parent Guide below (attached).

 

How can you find out about school meals?

You can downlod the current lunch time menu (updated September 2023). The menu runs on a three-weekly cycle and includes both halal and non-halal options. There is a choice of at least three main meals at each lunch sitting.
The Daily Meal Deal costs £2.33 and includes the main meal or vegetarian option plus a small drink or a pudding.
Parents and carers will need to only use our e-payment method to pay for dinner money, trips, music lessons etc . This can be done online using a very secure website called ParentPay. ParentPay holds an electronic record of your payments so you may view them whenever you wish.

How do you report an absence?

Excellent attendance is the expectation at Harris Academy Beulah Hill. The expectation is that students attend every day by 8.30am unless they are unwell, in which case parents or carers are expected to contact the Academy before 9.00am on each morning of the absence.

We expect all our students at HABH to be scholarly, compassionate, and aspirational. We expect all HABH pupils to act and behave in a way which ensures that all teachers can teach and all students can learn. We do challenge any behaviour that does not meet our high standards so that lessons are not disrupted.
