Sixth Form Careers Provision
At Harris Academy Beulah Hill, our Sixth Form students benefit from a comprehensive and personalised Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance (CEIAG) programme. We are committed to ensuring every student is fully prepared for their next steps, whether that is university, apprenticeships, employment, or specialist training.
Personalised Guidance
Students have access to impartial one‑to‑one careers advice from a qualified careers professional. Guidance is tailored to individual aspirations and includes support with university applications, apprenticeship routes, CVs, personal statements and interview preparation.
Encounters With Employers and Providers
Throughout the year, students meet a wide range of employers, universities and training providers through assemblies, workshops, talks and events. These encounters help students explore different sectors, understand labour market trends and make informed decisions about their future.
Curriculum and Enrichment
Our Sixth Form curriculum is enriched with careers‑focused activities, including subject‑specific employer talks, themed careers weeks and opportunities to develop key employability skills. Students also use UNIFROG to research pathways, track their achievements and prepare high‑quality applications.
Transition and Destination Support
We provide structured support for all students as they prepare for life after Sixth Form. This includes guidance meetings, application workshops and targeted intervention for students who may need additional help to secure a positive destination.
